On April 28, 2021, Bluepharma marked the National Day for Prevention and Safety at Work and the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, which was created and is celebrated in honor of all victims of occupational accidents and diseases.
In 2021, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work focused on strategies to strengthen national systems for occupational health and safety (OSH) for building resilience in order to address crises now and in the future, from the lessons learned and experiences from the world of work.
Thus, more than ever, it is essential that there be a culture of awareness and responsibility of employers to guarantee decent and risk-free work to their workers. The main idea is to create a social awareness to reduce the risks and damage that employees can suffer in their workplaces.
Thus, in view of the changes that the COVID-19 pandemic brought to all employees, such as telework and potential OSH risks, in particular psychosocial risks, this year Bluepharma, promoted an awarenessraising action with the participation of some elements of CASS - Environment, Safety and Health Committee, for the importance of adopting safe practices in the workplace, where we honor all Bluepharma employees - our Blueheroes!
On May 25, 2021, the Bluepharma administration symbolically distinguished some of our Blueheroes following the tribute held on the National Day of Prevention and Safety at Work and World Day for Safety and Health at Work, with the Internal Awareness Campaign "Bluepower".
The distinguished employees belong to the Environment, Safety and Health Committee as influencing elements and agents of training and maintenance of Bluepharma's Health and Safety policies.
