20th Anniversary of Bluepharma
Bluepharma celebrated 20 years in 2021! 20 years that passed in a flash, full of achievements.
To show the evolution of Bluepharma present in the entire drug value chain, on March 1 2021, we opened a photo exhibition entitled "Reflections in the Future", which features current images of our employees, in the various areas of activity of the company, captured by artistic look of the renowned photographer Pedro Medeiros.
"Reflection in the Future" is an exhibition of photographs that represents the dynamic and didactic display of the value chain of the pharmaceutical industry, from Research & Development to production and packaging, including quality control and the distribution of medicines.

Reflection. Bluepharma’s headquarters façade inaugurated on May 28 2010 by the President of the Republic, Professor Aníbal Cavaco Silva.
Step by step. Bluepharma has made its way gradual and consistently, sure of its mission, based on solid values and guided by a long-term vision.
Research. 130 scientists develop their activity in our laboratories, aiming for innovative solutions with applicability in pharmaceutical products and processes.

Knowledge. Transmission of knowledge begins with an idea that will eventually land in the laboratory bench. Once all phases in development have been carried on, it turns into scientific and technical information scrutinized by the regulatory authority. In the end we have a product which required years to be developed and consumed large resources until it is ready to improve the health condition of those in need.
Strength. A small amount of granulate pushed by the law of applied physics, in the form of pre-compression and compression forces, turns into a tablet.
